Introduction
to Software Development

Software development refers to a set of computer science activities dedicated to the process of creating, designing, deploying and supporting software

How Does Software

Development Work?

Software development involves several phases that provide a method for building products that meet technical specifications and user requirements. The most common phases are: - Planning, Analysis, design and Implementation.

Our Planning, Analysisand Design.

Planning: This involves defining the scope, objectives and features of the project. It also includes identifying stakeholders, risks and resources needed.
Analysis: This involves gathering and analyzing user needs and expectations. It also includes defining functional and non-functional requirements for the product.
Design: This involves creating a blueprint or model for how the product will look like and work. It also includes choosing appropriate technologies, tools and frameworks for implementation.

Our Implementation

This involves writing code according to the design specifications using programming languages such as Python,C++ or Java.It also includes testing code for errors, bugs or defects.- Testing: This involves verifying that the product meets quality standards, functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and safety. It also includes fixing any issues or problems found during testing.

Three basic types
of software:

System software

This provides core functions such as operating systems, disk management, utilities, hardware management and other operational necessities.

Programming software

This gives programmers tools such as text editors, compilers, linkers, debuggers and other tools to create code.

Application software

This helps users perform tasks. Office productivity suites, data management software, media players and security programs are examples.
